SACRED HEART CONVENT SCHOOL, JAGADHRI
Founded in 1966, Sacred Heart Convent School is being run under the management of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Destitute.
The education imparted by the school aims at taking in the whole aggregate of human life: physical and spiritual, intellectual and moral, individual and social – elevating, regulating and perfecting it.
The school started from a rented building and in 1975, the school was shifted to its own building. All the 31 batches since 1976 have attained 100% results in CBSE board examination. In 1999, the school was upgraded to Senior Secondary level.
The school has well equipped laboratories for Math’s, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. An audio-video lab equipped with Digital Multimedia Projector and Computers has been established to impart Computer Aided Teaching in different subjects.
Sports Activities are a regular part of the school curriculum. Football, Table Tennis, Cricket, Basket Ball, Badminton, Hockey, and now, Lawn Tennis and Skating have been added to the sports activities. Our students have participated in National Level Basket Ball and Table Tennis tournaments.
The school gives Scholarships and Free education to deserving and needy students.
